Scholarship Application

For the GFWC-BJWC 2005-2006 $500 scholarships to a graduating student of Billings Senior High School, Billings West High School, and Skyview High School.

Applicant’s Requirements:

1. Be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

2. Demonstrate an active interest in school and community activities and/or employment.

Plan to pursue a four-year education at an accredited college or university in the fall of 2006.
Must be postmarked by March 28, 2006, to BJWC Scholarship Committee at the address below.

1.      An official copy of your recent high school transcript.
2.      Three letters of recommendation. No more than two letters from your high school principal, faculty member, and/or activity sponsor. One letter reflecting community involvement and/or employment. These letters should include the activities in which you are involved.
3.      Describe your community service activities and/or employment.
4.      Describe your extra curricular activities.
5.      Write a brief essay indicating why you feel you are deserving of this scholarship.
